Learn about our process and how we use SEO, PPC, and website development to grow brands to get you results.
The cost of SEO depends on a few factors, including the size of your site, the competitiveness of your market, and the rate at which you want to grow.
SEO is a long-term investment, and we work with clients to determine what budget is feasible for attaining their desired results as quickly as possible.
No matter the size of the program, we work to ensure that your budget is targeted on areas that provide ROI.
Each program is different, and the pace of results is largely controlled by your budget, the competitiveness of your industry, and your current site’s foundation. As a good rule of thumb, most clients can expect to see results about 3-6 months into a program. However, a larger budget can move this timeline up, or an ultra-competitive landscape could move this timeline back.
At Eleventh Peak Digital, we are all about crunching numbers. We work with businesses to determine the cost per lead and the viability of our programs. We believe success is found in measurable ROIs and meeting the brand awareness & user growth that our clients are after.
We set up website tracking, segment lead/website data, and provide monthly reports to go over how our program is performing, adjusting trajectory as needed along the way.
SEO ROI varies based on your industry, competition, current visibility, and how aggressively you invest in growth. Some businesses break even within a few months, while others see compounding revenue gains over 6–12 months as organic traffic and lead volume increase.
Instead of guessing, use our SEO ROI Potential Calculator to model projected traffic growth, revenue lift, break-even timeline, and long-term return based on your actual numbers.
At its core, SEO is about delivering the most relevant content to users. Google analyzes user search queries, location, device, browsing history, and other factors to understand their needs. A successful SEO strategy involves understanding user needs throughout the customer journey, providing valuable information, and showcasing how your products or services can help.
The answer is it depends. If you are looking for a long term cost-effective solution, SEO is the clear winner. That being said, PPC offers a quicker return on investment and can be a higher ROI multiple.
Both are used for different purposes and as such they complement each other. The most optimal solution is to use both.
Some SEO is better than no SEO, but as search engines change, users’ interests evolve, and your business offerings shift, your SEO needs to adapt.
Depending on the nature of your industry and how quickly things change, the growth of your business, and offerings, we suggest either an ongoing program or a quarterly program.
Though there are some free resources out there to do site audits, most require you to sign-up to see results or provide vague feedback that isn’t useful.
Eleventh Peak offers free consultations where we run a site audit, go over the results, and discuss what would help your business.
If you can factor out seasonality, then it’s likely that your site traffic has dropped for a few reasons.
Google’s ranking algorithm is always changing and you might have been penalized and need to update some things for your site to regain ground
Your competitors have been hard a work optimizing their sites and as a result, they are now ranking better and getting the traffic you once did
Users interests have shifted and the content on your site no longer matches what they are looking for
Google has opted to show videos, images, or other content that you are not ranking for
A website update or other technical issue has caused your site to lose authority and drop in rankings
We can provide a thorough audit of your website performance identifying shortcomings and how best to work to resolve them.
Though SEO should be a foundational and recurring focus of your business marketing efforts, there are a few times when SEO deserves even more attention.
The most common time businesses seek out SEO strategists is when they are looking to expand their online presence by increasing website traffic. This can be for a variety of reasons such as a sudden drop in traffic, a competitor encroaching on market share, looking to build market share, or looking for long-term growth. Whether you have done SEO before, or it’s the first time, hiring an SEO specialist will help grow your audience.
Maybe you have taken a crack at SEO, or maybe you have an employee who has been dabbling. You might have even seen some success. SEO can be time-consuming and it’s always changing. Imagine then what would happen if you had a dedicated expert working on your behalf, staying up to date on all the latest techniques and optimizing your account. You could focus on your business and your employees could focus on their strengths. With this, you have a well-oiled lead generation machine.
Google will be looking over your site as soon as you launch. Like other first impression, it is important to present yourself in the best light possible. Fixing technical issues, and optimizing your copy toward your audience ensures you have a foundation to build off of.
If you are taking time and resources to revamp your site then you should be focusing on not only the look and feel but how it will perform. Working on SEO and conversion rate optimization as part of the redesign process helps establish a lead generation engine.
The short answer is no. Your website design can impact the effectiveness of an SEO program. Most sites are able to perform well without needing to be redesigned.
As experienced website developers, we are able to make changes as part of SEO programs. We also can do one-time fixes, and ongoing maintenance to help boost SEO as well as improve user experience.
Nothing is stopping you from doing SEO, but the greatest risk of doing it yourself is using your valuable time and resources and not getting results. It adds one more thing to your plate and the cost of subpar results can leave you further behind as your competitors leverage professionals to boost their site.
That depends, do your customers use the internet to browse for products, services, and to read reviews? If they do, then you need SEO.
SEO is a digital marketing strategy that aims to increase website traffic by aligning website content with user search intent. For example, if a user searches for “When should I change my oil” and your site sells car oil, having a comprehensive guide on the topic would meet their needs. If the content is valuable and relevant, Google will likely show your site to more users.
In essence, SEO is about connecting your brand with potential customers who are interested in your products or services.
Local search engine optimization focuses on ranking a website around products and services offered in a local area. For instance, a car wash in Queensbury, NY would benefit from a local SEO program that focused on increasing their ranking in Google Maps when users in the surrounding area typed in “car wash near me”.
As this technique is geographically specific and often overlooked, it offers businesses the greatest chance to get qualified customers. Businesses in the service industry and with physical locations benefit the most from local SEO.
Technical SEO encompasses ranking factors related to the website architecture (crawlability), user experience (site speed, buttons working, ease of navigating), mobile responsiveness, and other technical factors like broken links, and redirects.
Page speed is a direct ranking factor in Google’s Algorithm. More than helping your site rank, a fast load speed ensures users stick around to engage with your content.
Simple dev changes can often boost this score substantially and all your users will thank you!
Yes, there are tools available to track and analyze your competitor’s websites. For all of our clients, we monitor competitor’s websites and build strategies around gaps, and areas we can strengthen or do better than them.
It depends. The main factors for an effective budget are:
Cost for ranking for keywords (average cost per click)
Number of clicks needed to generate a conversion (conversion rate)
Your ideal sales or number of leads per month
EX: You run a t-shirt business and want to rank for keywords like “comfortable t shirts”. The average cost per click for all the keywords you want to show up for was $3 and you know you need to get 20 clicks to get 8 sales, it would cost $60 dollars for 8 sales or $7.50 per sale. If you wanted to sell 10 t-shirts a day or 300 a month, you would need a budget of around $2150.
Could you use less? Of course, but you would have to lower your expectations for the number of sales. A general rule of thumb is your budget needs to be large enough to be able to competitively bid and get enough volume of clicks that you can get conversions. This makes the cost per click the single largest driver of budget.
The average return on ad spend (ROAS) is 2. That being said ROAS fluctuates by industry with some having less margin while others have greater room to run. A good mark to hit is a ROAS of 4+. Something to note is that the length of the customer’s buyer’s journey, could be longer than 30 days. You should look at ROAS over a length of time that reflects how long a user would take to research and make a decision.
Though pay-per-click requires testing and continual optimization, generally you can start to see leads within as little as a few weeks. Though it is not the most cost-effective marketing channel it is certainly the quickest way to generate leads.
The industry standard for measuring paid advertising success is the return on ad spend (ROAS). This is for every dollar you spend on ads how many do you get back? A good ROAS is anything above 4.
That being said not every business can clearly attribute revenue to ads. Other methods of defining success are:
We work closely with clients to ensure goals are being met. This includes a monthly report that breaks down key metrics with next steps.
There is no minimum budget for starting a paid search campaign. That being said, you can definitely be limited by budget. A good starting point is to determine how much it would cost to be competitive, estimate how many leads it could generate, and if the cost per lead is feasible to maintain.
Tell us some information about your business, what type of services or products you would like to advertise, and where, and we will determine an effective budget. The best part, it’s free!
Whether using Google Ads, or Bing Ads, there are a few different ways to reach your audience:
Short text banner ads that appear around organic results
Photo banner ads that appear on partner sits and throughout Google & Bing (Think click here photos on your favorite blog)
Qualifying products are shown at the top of the search results and in the shopping tab in the search engine
These are the short videos you see on YouTube videos, or videos displayed in the search results page with the designation of sponsored
Each method of advertising is effective in its own right. It’s a matter of determining what your goals are, who your target audience is, and what budget you have to work with.
When determining if a paid search campaign is right for your business there are a few questions to ask:
Not sure how to figure this all out? We are here to help. Schedule a call to go over your business and we will provide a free proposal for what budget it would take to be successful and if that makes sense for your business.
There are many reasons why your ad might not be showing. The most common reasons are:
If your ads are not showing we can help diagnosis why and get you on the right track.
In general Bing Ads tend to have lower costs per click compared to Google Ads. This is due to less competition. You may be able to rank higher and have a cheaper cost per site visitor but in the end, what matters is that you are driving the right traffic to your site.
It could be that Bing traffic is cheaper but how does it convert? And what if you need to reach a larger audience? In most cases using both platforms along with various paid social channels yields the best results. If you had to pick one though, Google Ads is still the king. (You get what you pay for).
Absolutely as we mentioned above, Bing Ads can be a lot more cost-effective. More than that, if you are not using Bing Ads then you are not being shown to around 60 million people who aren’t being reached by Google Ads.
For campaigns with a budget of less than $1000 a month it may make sense to try to run the campaign yourself. However, having a professional help you setup the account will go a long way and cost less in the long run as your campaigns perform better.
For campaigns spending more than $1000, especially those that are competitive, having a Google ads consultant/paid search expert manage the account is crucial for success.
Campaigns often need tweaks and improper settings, or delayed action can lead to wasted spend (the costliest expense).
PPC’s strength is in its speed. It is the fastest way to generate leads. However, SEO is a much more cost-effective marketing strategy. Since the strengths and weaknesses of each balance each-other out, most businesses opt to do a combination of both leaning more one way or the other depending on their budget and timeline.
Remarketing is a technique that uses past data to identify customers and show them customized ads based on their preferences. This can be based on users who visited your site, searched your brand, visited your social profiles, and more.
Retargeting is the same concept except instead of reaching current customers, you are reaching potential customers (people who have engaged with your content).
Both techniques rely on building audience lists through tracking pixels or uploading lists.
Businesses use remarketing and retargeting to gain a higher ROI as these users are close to making a decision.
Local search ads focus on targeting users in search of products or services in a particular geographic area. These ads differ from normal search campaign with a geo-target.
With local ads you are charged at flat fee per lead. You are also able to dispute a lead and get a refund. With normal search ads you pay per click, no matter if a site visit produces a lead.
The ad uses your phone number as the call to action instead of linking to your site.
These results show up as a visual listing with a highlight badge for trust verification.
Though other paid search ads can show up in Google Maps, local ads get preference.
How long it takes for a new site to go live relies on a few factors:
Absolutely! We build our sites to be highly customizable and easy to use. It’s our goal to empower businesses so they are comfortable making changes as their needs evolve. We also offer training as part of our process and give several hours of complementary troubleshooting help in case you get stuck.
The cost depends on several factors such as:
Generally speaking, most small businesses with 20 pages or less (The following are not counted in this number – blogs, press releases, case studies) can expect to pay $3,000-$10,000.
Those with more than 20 pages or more complex needs can expect the cost to be $10,000-$20,000
We can handle even the most advanced sites, with a large catalog of pages and many custom application and third-party data connection needs. The cost greatly varies so we are unable to provide a general cost to expect. Please contact us to discuss your site.
Though we offer support for a wide range of website platforms, for full website builds, and redesigns we exclusively work with WordPress.

Having spent time working with many website platforms the decision to use WordPress comes down to two reasons:
1. Cost To Clients:
We know that cost is important and WordPress enables us to build off a large community of developers. What this means is that we can integrate complex features and make your site highly performant without the high price tag.
This doesn’t mean your site won’t be customized and in terms of style, the sky is the limit. This just comes down to the time it takes to build-out components and integrate with other applications your company is using. And for that, WordPress is (King/Queen).
2. Usability
There’s nothing worse than a site that you can’t update. No matter how good-looking a site is, it needs to be easy for both the users and the people updating it. With WordPress, we can build beautiful websites that are easy to navigate and fun to work with.
A bonus is that there are lots of resources online to get help with WordPress sites. This makes it even easier for clients to solve problems or seek out support, with a large community of developers on standby.
If your site is not on WordPress and you want a redesign, we can work with you to migrate over to a WordPress environment while retaining all the necessary functionality. Then we can get you a high-performing site with a fresh look and a killer experience.
If you are looking for website support or need small style changes, we can work with most platforms. Here are the most common platforms we support:
No website platform can outperform a solid SEO strategy. The truth is that though some website platforms come with better out-of-the-box features and might even do some of the work for you, all sites can get you to rank well. It’s a matter of having a dedicated SEO strategy and ensuring the website structure is correct.
Though we primarily work in WordPress, we are comfortable and able to provide support for the following platforms:
*Support is for standard website edits. For more advanced or nuanced builds we do have limitations. The best way to find out if we are up for the task is a free consultation.
With proper FTP access we can also work on sites that are hard coded.
We have three service offerings for website support, On-Demand, Quarterly, and Training.
Pay only when you need us. You submit a ticket to our support email. [email protected] and we respond within 48 hours. For urgent matters you can include urgent in the headline and we will respond as quickly as possible.
Work is charged by the hour and an estimate of time/cost can be provided before work commences.
Have us on call, but save money. Our quarterly programs offer a 25% saving and ensure we are there when you need us. It also gives you the flexibility to do website updates, and general maintenance versus only reaching out when issues arise.
This is great for businesses that want to keep their sites up to date and running well, but don’t need extensive development work on a monthly basis.
We get on a call with your team and walk you through your site, and how to perform edits. We also offer mentorship to train in-house developers/webmasters. It’s about empowering you and your team to take the reins while having us close by to help out if you hit some bumps along the way.
Chances are if it has a recognizable logo we can get the data for you. Here are some of the most common platforms:
Yes, with support for many of the most popular platforms, and the integration of Google Sheets, we can get all your data into one place.
Bonus – We can filter, re-organize, and visualize the data and it’s easy to share.
We use Looker Studio to build your reports. This is a free service, though some of the third-party connectors, like Facebook, require a subscription to a data connector platform. For most businesses, a $30 monthly subscription gives access to all the most used platforms.
We can set up tracking for nearly all website interactions. Here are examples of some of the most common requests:
Though most people know AI from its use to generate text and images, the capabilities go far beyond this. Here are a few ways AI can help your businesses:
Let us know what problem you have and we will show you how AI might be able to help
In most cases we study how AI has reduced the time it takes to perform tasks and this time saving is extrapolated out to demonstrate ROI. We also look at the scope of output, and the quality of work produced.
For most businesses not only do they get faster, the quality of work becomes better.
Many AI platforms including OpenAI offer a paid version with privacy. This means that the AI does not train on your business data.
Do know that for all publicly available information that is on your website, it is likely already been included in training. This applies exclusively to things not currently available online.
